A Day of Hope began in 2006 as a student led club at CSUS to offer hope and encouragement to our community by providing food and turkeys to needy families who would otherwise not have a Thanksgiving meal. As these students graduated and left Turlock, A Day of Hope moved under the 501 (c)3 umbrella of Enclave Community Church.
Since we have had the opportunity to continue the ministry of A Day of Hope, every year our congregation passes out brown paper bags all around Turlock in hopes that the generous people of our city will fill these bags with can goods and other items to make Thanksgiving boxes for over 200 needy families in Turlock. Our prayer is that God will use this ministry as tangible expression of who he is as a generous God. This ministry also provides us the opportunity to connect with the dear people of our city to share the love and gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
